I am a 46 year old mother of 3, and a grandmother. My daughter is 17 and is giving me hell experimenting with drugs. She has been arrested several times, and spent about a month and a half total in juvenile jail. She is currently on probation, and she has no intentions on going back to jail. She is staying off of everything except for pot. She likes it, and doesn't want to stop, however, she also wants to stay out of jail, so here's where the problem lies. She is going to outpatient drug counseling and going to a monthly probation meeting. Both places drug test her. When she smokes pot, she feels bad and confesses it to me, and I give her the lecture that she's gonna wind up back in jail or long term drug rehab. She worries until the next drug test, but ALWAYS passes. I found out her secret today. She takes 1000 MG of niacin. It can not be flush free niacin, because it doesn't work.
Here's what niacin does for you:
    Nicotinic Acid-
Nicotinic acid is the most extensively studied agent and has been found to lower cholesterol levels as well as prevent cardiovascular disease. In fact, nicotinic acid affects all aspects of your lipid profile by lowering LDL cholesterol by 15 to 25 percent, lowering triglycerides by 20 to 50 percent, and raising HDL cholesterol by 15 to 30 percent. Despite its ability to greatly lower cholesterol, nicotinic acid is also associated with some undesirable side effects, such as flushing, itching, gastrointestinal upset, and hot flashes. The side effects from nicotinic acid can be so troublesome that many discontinue taking it. It's actually good for you if you take 100MG, but taking 1000MG like my daughter does, it has some serious consequences. It makes you feel burned..from the inside out. Your skin turns bright red, your ears feel like they're on fire, and it feels like someone punched you in the stomach. You skin hurts and you itch, but if you scratch, it burns like hell. This lasts for hours, and you are miserable. But the fact is, it works. She takes it about 30 minutes before her test, and she has passed all of them, and so have all of her friends. Her My Space page was full of testimonials to this fact. Friends of hers saying "I passed!" "OMG the niacin worked" Now I'm surely not trying to tell someone how to pass a drug test, because I hate drugs and have seen what they can do to someone's life, but for this site to say niacin doesn't work is nothing but BS. I'm telling you first hand...it works...my daughter is living proof. I hope she wakes up one day and stops smoking pot, but until then I guess there's niacin to keep her out of jail.

Sorry, but niacin really doesn't work. Your daughter could save herself the trouble of being "on fire" by simply following the dilution technique. But hey, what do I know.
