Will they pat me down? I have a device, but I'm worried about concealing it, it's worked for my husbad 3 times. I'm going use the replacement/condom internal meathod I think, but my Aunt had a drug test in which they came into the bathroom with her!!!! Is that legal? Does that happen?

If this test is job-related, its against the law for the clinic techs to touch the donor in any manner (constitutes 'groping'). If this ever happens, you need to inform your States Attorneys Office pronto. In addition to criminal charges being filed against the clinic, the donor can also be entitled to civil remedy. Know your rights.
The tech can only instruct the donor to remove jackets, hats and emptying of the pockets. Some techs may have the donor roll a pant leg up to the knee to check for bulges in the socks. Donors can keep their wallet but purses must be placed in a secured location agreed upon by both the tech and donor.

The only time another person is supposed to be in the bathroom is because:

    - monitored test ...A monitored collection happens in situations where a multi-stall bathroom is used for sample collection. Water sources are more difficult to secure in a multi-stall vs a single stall bathroom with just a single sink and toilet. Therefore its more practical for a clinic to utilize a monitor to ensure that the donor is not using the sink or any other water source to tamper the urine sample. Plus the monitor is also used to prevent individuals from entering while a sample is being collected. The monitor cannot be inside the stall with the donor.

    - observed test ... An observed test is done on court-ordered tests and military tests. On job related tests, a directly observed collection is done on individuals who had been suspected of tampering and or if the test is for follow up/return to duty. On a directly observed collection, the observer, by law and no exception, MUST be the same gender as the donor. The observer will be in the stall with the donor and is to directly watch the urine sample exit the donors body and into the sample cup. The observer is not allowed to handle the sample cup at any time. The observer must witness the donor handing the sample cup to the collector.

It really depends on the kind of test and what it's for. The guide on this page covers this though.
